Lowestoft - Appeal after affray

Police are appealing for witnesses after an affray in Lowestoft.

Officers were called to the incident in the early hours of Saturday 20 July. Sometime between 01:45am and 02:30am a large number of people were involved in a disturbance in a carpark outside the Shish Bar on the Esplanade.

A 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of affray and a 21-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of assault. Both were taken to Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre and were later released under investigation whilst enquiries continue.

Police are appealing for anybody who was involved or witnessed the incident, or who has any knowledge of the affray to contact police quoting reference 37/42529/19.
