Burglary arrests in Lowestoft

Two people have been arrested in connection with a burglary in Lowestoft.

The incident happened on a houseboat docked behind the Boatbuilding Training College on Sea Lake Road on Saturday 27 July at about 2am.

A black HP laptop and an oblong shaped tan purse were stolen. Following police enquiries two males were subsequently arrested.

A 25 year old was arrested on suspicion of burglary and taking a vehicle without consent while a 23 year old man was arrested on suspicion of burglary, taking a vehicle without consent, theft form a vehicle, going equipped and possession of class B drugs.

Both were taken to Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre and released on police bail pending further enquiries until 6 August 2019.
