Body found in Aldeburgh - update

Police investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a man’s body in a property in Aldeburgh can confirm that the death remains unexplained at this time but is not being treated as suspicious.

Officers were called at around 4.25pm on Wednesday 1 April, to reports that the body of a 60-year-old man had been discovered inside a property in Victoria Road in the town.

Next of kin have been informed. A post-mortem examination will take place in due course to establish the cause of death.
