Man sentenced for the murder of Peter & Sylivia Stuart: Man jailed for at least 35 years for Weybread murders

Police are continuing to appeal for help to trace Sylvia Stuart from Weybread who was reported missing on Friday 3 June 2016.

Suffolk Police were contacted around 7.15am on Friday 3 June reporting Peter Stuart and his wife Sylvia as missing after they hadn’t been seen since the previous weekend.

Officers immediately began enquiries and started searches in the vicinity of their Mill Lane home. Peter Stuart’s body was found close to the property around 7.15pm on Friday 3 June. Officers began a major investigation and Ali Qazimaj, 43, was subsequently charged and convicted for the murder of both Peter and Sylvia.

However Sylvia, 69, has not been found and police continue to make enquiries to trace her.

Sylvia, 69, was described as white, around 5ft 1inch tall, of slim build with short blonde hair. She often wore glasses and may have been wearing a top and trousers.
