Suffolk Staff

Digital contact in Policing is a new and exciting area of growth within Suffolk Constabulary. We are seeing more and more of our community reach out to us using Live Chat, Social Media and email than we ever have before. As a result, we are excited to offer the opportunity of working within the new Digital Public Contact & Engagement team.

As a Digital Public Contact & Engagement Operator you will be part of a small team dedicated to digital contact, working closely with colleagues in the Contact & Control Room (CCR) as well as officers around Suffolk, to deliver exceptional service to our community throughout Suffolk.

We would like to encourage ANYONE who is interested in working in the Digital Public Contact & Engagement team to fill in the form below and come to the assessment centre. We have a diverse group of staff from all backgrounds and are keen to meet you even if don’t think you have the experience needed for the role, you might surprise yourself.

PLEASE NOTE: Should you pass the initial eligibility check, you will need to download and complete a few quick forms in order to progress to our assessment centres.

You will also need to upload some ID and proof to address - a photo of these documents will suffice. Please see the list below for everything you will need to complete.

You will also need a copy of a British Passport or any two of the alternatives (listed on vetting identification form) and proof of address (utility bill dated within the last 3 months except Council tax, which can be up to 12 months).

Please answer truthfully or your application will not be progressed.
