Applications are invited for the above post within Criminal Justice Services either at Landmark House, Ipswich or Carmelite House, Norwich.
The successful applicant will provide a project, planning and research function to include the development of policy, practice and procedure and the implementation of change and CJ Reform and continuous improvement.
It is essential that applicants meet the following criteria:
- Developed communication skills, both verbal and written, report writing skills and the ability to liaise negotiate and persuade
- Experience of conducting independent research, presenting findings and options for executive decisions, using a multi-media approach
- Proven ability of keyboard skills and experience of Microsoft Office Suite including the provision of reports and statistics
- Experience of setting up, leading and managing projects and change to implementation
- Ability to work on own initiative, to organise and complete tasks, prioritise diverse workloads and deliver within given deadlines
- Proven ability to review and apply innovative approaches, formulating recommendations and lead change in accordance with organisational needs
- Ability to travel as required, locally and regionally
It is desirable that applicants meet the following criteria:
- Knowledge and experience of the local, regional and national criminal justice environment
- Holds or willing to obtain an appropriate training qualification eg PTLLS or the Award in Education and Training

Hours of work are 37 per week Monday to Friday. This post is offered on a permanent basis.
Consideration will be given to whether the post can be delivered on either a part time or job share basis, in line with the organisational requirements of this role.
