The Chief Constable of Suffolk Constabulary is inviting applications for the post of Assistant Chief Constable.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced senior officer with exceptional leadership skills and a proven track record of positively leading and managing operational policing and change.  The successful applicant will join an effective Chief Officer Team that is focused upon working collaboratively and in partnership with local communities, neighbouring forces and other organisations.  The post will be pivotal to further developing the outstanding policing services provided to the people of Suffolk and adapting these to meet changing patterns of demand, ways of working and available resources.

This opportunity to join Suffolk’s Chief Officer Team is open to existing Assistant Chief Constables or Chief Superintendents or Superintendents seeking promotion. Candidates will need to have passed the Senior Police National Assessment Centre and successfully completed the Strategic Command Course.
