The past year has been challenging for everyone but despite this we have seen some amazing examples of kindness and seen real strength within young people and the wider communities. That’s why we thought it important to do all we can to celebrate this, and continue to strengthen and build on the initial steps taken to promote equality, team work and resilience over the years to come.
To nominate a person or group of your choice in the initial stage of the HOPE awards, please complete and submit this form. All entries will be collated and reviewed by school representatives and Suffolk Police Engagement Officers.
At a later stage this panel will select those top nominations to progress onto a county panel where an overall winner will be decided. We hope we can reflect the hard work of young people in an awards ceremony later in the year.
We have provided four categories which we feel define the HOPE awards, these are designed to link in with work we carry out throughout the year in relation to Hate crime awareness and may help guide nominations.
We are delighted to have BBC Radio Suffolk and East Anglian Daily Times supporting us as media partners for these awards.
