Op Snap

Operation Snap is a secure online facility which allows submissions of video and photographic evidence relating to driving incidents that members of the public have witnessed. Produced with the support of the Department for Transport.

Norfolk and Suffolk Roads Armed Policing Team (RAPT)

Suffolk and Norfolk Constabularies are dedicated to working with partner agencies and members of the public to reduce the number of collisions on the counties’ roads.

Please note, due to our mandatory time constraints, you have 7 days from the date of the alleged offence / incident to submit the report and complete your statement and upload the footage. Any reports received after 7 days or if the footage and statement are not uploaded within 7 days, no further action will be taken by OP SNAP 

Please note this reporting system is for driving offences only.  If you are witnessing a crime in progress please ring 999. If you have captured a crime on camera please use the online crime reporting form here.

Got footage of a driving offence?

  • If you have captured footage of a driving offence, which you believe requires our attention – please complete the online form below.
  • DO NOT post your footage on social media – if you have already done this please remove it immediately.
  • We will respond to you with an email containing instructions of how to upload your footage to us and when the footage has been assessed, keep you updated with the decision.

Following this online submission, you will be sent an email requesting a statement from you and the footage.  If you are not willing to attend court and potentially give evidence, we will not be able to proceed even if you send in the footage.

If you do not know the Vehicle Registration Mark we will be unable to proceed.

Any information provided by you will be treated in strict confidence. The information you provide will be placed on computer and protected by provisions of the Data Protection Act 2018.
