PAYMENT OF SUPPLIER INVOICES DURING THE COVID-19 SITUATION

The Constabulary wishes to reassure all our suppliers of goods and services that we are will continue to make payment of invoices promptly during the current unprecedented times we are all facing.  We would ask that wherever possible invoices are emailed rather than posted to the Constabulary to enable our teams to process these remotely rather than having to rely on staff being in our offices to open post etc. We will update our suppliers via our website if the situation changes.

The joint Finance Department aims to deliver a high quality, timely service to internal and external stakeholders. Our core value is to deliver a high quality, consistent service to Suffolk and Norfolk Constabularies and to the Offices of the Police and Crime Commissioners for Suffolk and for Norfolk.

The Finance Department’s main purpose is to support and underpin operational policing by ensuring that financial resources and operational strategies are aligned, and that staff and suppliers are correctly paid. Without resources to pay staff and provide goods and services, and without the processes to make those payments happen, policing cannot operate.
