Seat belts
Wearing a seat belt could save your life and it is also a legal
requirement for both adults and children to buckle up whilst in a
vehicle.
It is a fact that you are twice as likely to die in a crash if
you don't wear a seat belt. What is worse is that if you are a
passenger in the back of a car and you are not wearing your seat
belt the impact could cause you to seriously injure or kill the
people in the front of the car.
Wearing a seat belt should be a natural routine that you should
follow everytime you enter a vehicle. It is the drivers
responsibility to ensure that they and all their passengers are
wearing a seat belt before starting a journey.
People who are caught not wearing a seat belt will receive a £60
on the spot fine from Suffolk Police.
