Drivewise
Drivewise is a road safety presentation aimed at young drivers
in Suffolk. The aim of the presentation, which includes DVDs,
slides and interactive voting, is to make people aware of the
consequences of dangerous driving.
In 2009, 17 people aged between 16 and 24 years old were killed
on Suffolk roads. We hope that the presentations may go some way to
helping to reduce casualties within this higher risk driving
group.
Suffolk police would like to hold Drivewise sessions for young
drivers across Suffolk and deliver this important message to as
many people as possible. The sessions have already been run in
local schools throughout the county with a lot of positive feedback
from those involved.
If you are interested in coming along, know of anyone who may
benefit from this presentation or you would like to hold a
Drivewise session for a group or club, please register your
interest by applying for a Drivewise session in the related
downloads section.
Please note, we will only be able to hold a session if we have
sufficient interest in the area, if we are able to hold a session,
you will be contacted and invited to attend.
