Report a crime

There are a number of ways you can get in touch with Suffolk Constabulary depending on the urgency and type of request.


In an emergency, always call 999.

In a non-emergency call 101.

Your call can then be directed to any police department across the county.

To report a non-emergency crime, you can use the online Report a Crime form.

You can also use our 'Tell the police' facility to pass on information that may be of interest to the police.


Safer Neighbourhood Teams

You can contact your local Safer Neighbourhood Team via the non-emergency number 101 or log onto the My Neighbourhood pages on this website and find your team.

If you don’t know which team looks after you, then simply enter your postcode and the website will tell you who you need to contact and how.


Police Stations

You can visit your local Police Station. View our map to find the nearest one.



You can report crime anonymously by calling the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.


National Anti-Terrorist Hotline

You can report suspicious activity to the National Anti-Terrorist Hotline on 0800 789 321.


Hate Crime

You can report hate crime to the Police by phoning 101


Illegal web content

If you encounter illegal web content, you can report it to the Internet Watch Foundation.
