Fatal collision - Stowmarket

An 18-year-old man who sadly died following a
single-vehicle motorcycle collision in Gipping Way on Wednesday 11
July, has been named as Jack Cocksedge, from Stowmarket.
A KTM motorcycle being ridden by Mr Cocksedge collided with
street furniture and he was pronounced dead at the scene of the
crash.
Police are continuing to ask anyone who saw the incident, who
has not yet come forward, to call PC Andy Smith at the Serious
Collision Investigation Team at Suffolk Police on
101.

An 18-year-old man has died following a
single-vehicle motorcycle collision in Gipping Way in
Stowmarket.
Police were contacted by the ambulance service
just after 5.30pm this afternoon, Wednesday 11 July, to reports
that a motorcycle had collided with street furniture.
The KTM 640cc bike was being ridden by an
18-year-old man.
Despite attempts to resuscitate him, he was
pronounced dead at the scene.
The road was closed as an investigation got
underway into what happened.
Although police have spoken to a number of
witnesses, anyone who saw the incident who has not yet come forward
is asked to call PC Andy Smith at the Serious Collision
Investigation Team at Suffolk Police on 101.
