Indecent exposure - Lowestoft
27 January 2012
Police are appealing for information after a man indecently
exposed himself to a 12-year-old girl in an alleyway at Dell Road
around 8.30am on Wednesday, 25 January.
The girl was walking to school when she saw the man – described
as white, around 5ft 8ins tall, of medium build, aged in his late
teens to 20s, with short brown spiky hair with a pierced lower lip
and stubble on his chin, wearing dark jogging bottoms and a dark
coloured hooded top with a blue top underneath and white trainers –
in the alleyway that leads to Victoria Road. She passed him and
continued down the alley but then realised he was following
her.
She looked back and saw he was a short distance behind her and
he then pulled down his jogging bottoms exposing himself.
The girl ran away and the incident was later reported to
police.
Officers believe this may be linked to another incident
(publicised on Monday 23 January) that occurred in Kirkley Run on
the morning of Friday 20 January where a 13-year-old girl was
approached by a man and to another exposure incident which was only
reported to police this week but that happened on Saturday 17
December (correct as December).
Here two 13-year-old girls reported a man, aged in his 20s to
30s, with brown curly hair and a big nose, wearing a blue and white
coat with a hood and dark blue baggy jeans, had exposed himself to
them around midday in Blackheath Woods.
Police are stepping up patrols in the area and are asking anyone
who may have been in any of these areas around these times, anyone
with information about the incidents, or anyone who may recognise
the descriptions, to call PC 168 Griffith at Lowestoft on
101.
