Man named in Fatal collision Hadleigh

Police are naming a man who sadly died following a road traffic
collision in Hadleigh.
Emergency services were called at around 1:30pm on Thursday 8
November to reports of a collision involving two vehicles on the
A1071 in Hadleigh, just before the industrial estate.
The collision involved a refuse truck and a Vauxhall Corsa. The
driver of the Corsa was taken to Ipswich Hospital where he was
pronounced deceased.
The man has been named as Aubrey Barber, an 88-year-old man from
Elmsett.

A man has died following a road traffic collision in Hadleigh
today, Thursday 8th November.
Police were called at 13:28 today to reports of a collision
involving two vehicles on the A1071 in Hadleigh, just before the
industrial estate.
The collision involved a refuse truck and a Vauxhall Corsa.
Police, the ambulance service and the air ambulance were in
attendance.
A man, believed to be in his 80s was conveyed to Heath Road
Hospital where he sadly died.
The road has been closed between Red Hill Road and Aldham Mill
Hill.
Any witnesses to the incident are asked to contact Suffolk
Police's Serious Collision Investigation Team on
