Hadleigh unexplained death – Update
Police investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of woman’s body in the River Brett in Hadleigh can confirm that the death remains unexplained at this time but is not being treated as suspicious.
A member of the public made the discovery on Sunday 24 March.
Next of kin have been informed.
A file has been prepared for the coroner.

Police were called shortly after 9.50am today, Sunday 24 March, to reports that a member of the public had discovered a body of a woman in the River Brett in Hadleigh.
Emergency services were called to the location, however the woman was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
The death is currently being treated as unexplained but it is not believed to be suspicious at this time.
Anyone with information is asked to call Suffolk police on 101 quoting CAD number 122 of 24 March.
