SNT - Safer Neighbourhood Team

A Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) delivers a truly local policing style – local police working with local people and partners to identify and deal with issues of concern in their neighbourhood.

There are 29 Safer Neighbourhood Teams in Suffolk. Each team is dedicated to their neighbourhood and is based permanently in the community.

Each of our Safer Neighbourhood Teams are led by an SNT Inspector, supervised by a Sergeant and made up of police officers and Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs).
