Nuisance neighbours

There is a loud noise next door that is causing disturbance, what can I do?
We may attend at incidents such as this and can ask the organisers to turn the music down. However, we have no powers of prosecution for noise offences and it may be necessary to contact your local Environmental Health Department.

The larger departments in areas where there are particular problems do have all night cover, but it may be restricted to certain days of the week (e.g. Friday, Saturday).
