Frequently asked questions
Do you have a general question? You may find the
answer in this section of our website.
The frequently asked questions (FAQs) aim to help you find the
answers to your questions directly - without having to call Suffolk
Police to ask for the information. They contain answers to a wide
selection of nationally-asked questions. Information that is
specific to Suffolk Police is being added to some answers, where
appropriate.
How to find an answer:
- Click on a letter in the A to Z index to find a topic - for
example, 'A' for anti-social behaviour.
- Click on a topic and you will then see a list of questions
related to that topic. Click on a question to see the answer to
that question.
- Or use the FAQ search to search for a question. Search by
typing a keyword into the search box - for example, enter the word
'dogs' if you are interested in the police dog section.
If you cannot find the answer to your question in this section
and still need an answer, please call 101, the 24-hour
Suffolk Police non-emergency number. You can also give
information to Suffolk Police on this number. Always call
999 in an emergency.
The FAQs in this section are from the 'Ask the Police' website (opens new
window). Produced by the Police National Legal Database team,
'Ask the Police' is an official police site approved by the
Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO).
