Compliments help us to identify what we are doing right and best practice that can be rolled out to further improve public confidence.

Letters of thanks about individual staff are added to their work records and can lead to formal recognition of excellent work.

You can record a compliment in the following ways:

In writing

Write a letter to marked for the attention of either:

· The member of staff in question

· The ‘District Commander’ for your district

· The Chief Constable
