Safer Suffolk Foundation

The Safer Suffolk Foundation is Suffolk Police’s charitable arm.
It was set up to help manage our charitable donations so we can
offer financial support to organisations, charities or community
groups, which seek to improve the quality of life of people living
and working in Suffolk.
Since its 2009 launch, it has provided financial support for
many groups throughout Suffolk.
The key aims and objectives of the Safer Suffolk Foundation are
to:
- Improve community safety issues, particularly for elderly or
vulnerable people
- Provide young people with positive activity that helps prevent
anti social behaviour
- Promote community cohesion, particularly for projects that
bridge generation gaps or help minority groups become part of a
wider community.
The Safer Suffolk Foundation
is managed on behalf of Suffolk Police by The Suffolk Foundation,
which handles the administration of funds, including grant
applications and monitoring grants awarded. For more information

Foundation website.
