Our Procurement team has responsibility for Suffolk police’s
procurement arrangements.
This involves providing advice and guidance on best purchasing
practice, as well as ensuring all the commercial interests of the
force are consistently represented.
Suffolk Police has to adhere to strict guidelines for the
procurement of goods and services. These guidelines are enforced
through national and European Community laws, as well as the
organisation’s own contract regulations and Standing Orders.
This is to ensure the tendering procedures are undertaken in a
fair, open and transparent manner, which shows no bias or
favouritism towards any supplier.
For the purchase of goods, services or works please view our
Terms and Conditions of contract for the supply of goods and
services, and also our Contract Regulations.
Tender Questionnaire
All prospective tenderers must complete our Pre-qualification
Questionnaire and return it to the Procurement Unit.
Please answer the questions specifically for your organisation
and not for the group if you are part of a group of companies.
Please include, where appropriate, any supporting documents,
making clear on all enclosures the name of the organisation and the
number of the question to which they refer.
To assist with elements of the Pre-Qualification Questionnaire
the Constabulary's Equality Duty Guidance for Contractors and
Suppliers can be located in the related downloads section.
