Road Safety

Suffolk Constabulary is committed to making the county's roads safer.

In this section you will find top tips on road safety, including information on mobile phone laws. Use the headings on the left hand side of the screen to find out more.

Other useful information can be accessed from the Suffolk Roadsafe  website - opens in a new window. This is a partnership site between the police,  Suffolk's road safety team, fire services, community safety services and Safecam.

In addition, further details can also be found on the Brake  website - opens in a new window. Brake is a road safety charity which aims to:

  • To prevent death and injury on the roads through education of all road users and campaigning for Government improvements to road safety.

  • To care for people who are bereaved or affected by serious injury in a road crash through support services, including a helpline and literature distributed through police officers.
